Origin Story
Looksy emerged as a response to one of the core challenges in e-commerce — the inability to try products on before purchase. Even high-quality images and detailed descriptions do not give customers confidence in how an item will actually look on them. As a result, users delay their purchases, while brands face low conversion rates and high return volumes.
To address this problem, we developed an AI-powered virtual try-on solution that allows customers to see how clothing, eyewear, jewelry, or accessories will look on them before completing a purchase. The virtual try-on experience is integrated directly into the online store interface, making the selection process clearer, more convenient, and more personalized.

Who is behind Looksy?
Looksy was founded by Kirill Pegov and Natalia Varga, who recognized early how artificial intelligence could transform the online shopping experience. While observing the development of the fashion industry, they concluded that one of the key challenges in the market is the inability to try on products before purchase, which reduces customer trust and increases return rates.
Based on this idea, a team of specialists in artificial intelligence and digital product development was assembled. The team’s shared goal is to make the process of choosing clothing, accessories, and other products as simple, convenient, and confident as possible for customers, while helping brands increase conversion rates, reduce returns, and improve the overall user experience.

Looksy continues to expand the list of supported categories.
