Looksy provides AI-powered virtual try-on technology. To provide the Service, we may process photos uploaded by users and generate try-on images.

We use uploaded photos primarily to provide the requested virtual try-on result. We do not sell your photos. We do not use your photos for advertising without your separate consent. We do not use your photos to identify you as a person unless expressly stated and permitted by applicable law.

Where required, we ask for separate consent before processing user photos for virtual try-on.

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect the following categories of data.

2.1 Data You Provide Directly

• Photos uploaded for virtual try-on
• Generated try-on images
• Email address, if you contact us or create an account
• Name, company name, and contact details for B2B customers
• Support messages and related communication
• Information submitted through forms, widgets, Telegram, or partner integrations

2.2 Telegram Data

If you use the Service through Telegram, we may process:

• Telegram user ID
• Telegram username
• Display name
• Language settings
• Interaction history with the bot or Mini App
• Technical data required to operate the Telegram integration

We do not control Telegram. Telegram may process your data under its own terms and privacy policy.

2.3 Photo and Image Data

When you use virtual try-on, we may process:

• The original uploaded photo
• The generated try-on result
• Technical metadata required for processing
• Session or request ID
• Error logs related to generation

Photos may contain information about your appearance, body shape, face, clothing, and surroundings. Depending on applicable law and context, some photo data may be treated as sensitive or biometric-related data.

We process such data only where we have an appropriate legal basis, such as your consent or another basis permitted by law.

2.4 Payment Data

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.

We may receive limited payment-related information, such as:

• Payment status
• Transaction ID
• Amount
• Currency
• Date
• Invoice or billing status
• Subscription status

We do not store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials unless expressly stated otherwise.

2.5 Technical and Usage Data

We may collect:

• Approximate location based on IP
• Pages viewed
• Buttons clicked
• Referral source
• Logs, crash reports, and diagnostic data

This data helps us operate, secure, debug, improve, and analyse the Service.

• To operate Telegram bot and Telegram Mini App functionality
• To provide B2B widget and integration functionality
• To process payments, credits, subscriptions, and invoices

• To maintain logs needed for security and debugging
• To improve Service quality, performance, and reliability
• To analyse Service usage and improve user experience

We do not use uploaded photos for unrelated advertising or public marketing unless you give separate permission.

Depending on your country and applicable law, we may rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract with you
• Our legitimate interests, such as security, fraud prevention, debugging, service improvement, and business operations
• Compliance with legal obligations
• Protection of rights and safety
• Other legal bases permitted by applicable law

For users in jurisdictions where GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar privacy laws apply, we rely on relevant legal bases available under those laws.

For UAE-related processing, we take into account the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, where applicable.

Before using virtual try-on, we may ask you to confirm consent to process your photo and related data.

This consent covers processing needed to:

• Upload your photo
• Analyse the photo for virtual try-on
• Generate the try-on image
• Store the result temporarily
• Show or send the result to you
• Troubleshoot failed generations

You may withdraw consent by contacting privacy@looksy.tech. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before withdrawal.

If you withdraw consent, some or all virtual try-on functions may become unavailable.

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

As a general rule:

• Uploaded original photos are stored only for the time needed to generate the result and for short-term technical recovery
• Generated results may be stored temporarily so that you can view or retrieve them
• Technical logs may be stored for security, debugging, and fraud prevention
• Billing and transaction records may be stored for accounting, tax, compliance, and dispute purposes
• B2B customer records may be stored during the business relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards

Unless otherwise stated in the Service interface or a B2B agreement, we aim to delete or anonymise uploaded original photos within 72 hours after generation is completed.

Some data may remain in backups for a limited period before automatic deletion.

7.1 Service Providers

We may use third-party providers for:

• Hosting and cloud infrastructure
• AI processing infrastructure
• Storage
• Payment processing
• Analytics
• Customer support
• Security monitoring
• Email and communication
• Error tracking and logging

7.2 Telegram and Other Platforms

If you access Looksy through Telegram or another platform, that platform may receive and process data according to its own rules.

7.3 B2B Partners

If you use Looksy through a partner website, widget, or integration, the partner may receive certain information necessary to provide the requested experience.

The partner may also collect its own data under its own privacy policy.

7.4 Legal and Safety Disclosures

We may disclose data if reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with law, regulation, court order, or lawful request
• Enforce our Terms
• Protect rights, safety, and property of Looksy, users, partners, or third parties
• Investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or illegal activity

We do not sell personal data in the ordinary meaning of selling user information for money.

Looksy is operated from the United Arab Emirates and may use service providers located in other countries.

Your data may be processed in countries that may have different data protection laws from your country of residence.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, technical measures, organisational measures, or other mechanisms permitted by applicable law.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including:

• Encrypted transmission where appropriate

• Deletion and retention controls

No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Users aged 13 to 17 may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

We may send service-related messages, such as payment confirmations, technical notices, security alerts, or policy updates.

We may send marketing messages only where permitted by law or with your consent where required.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications using message instructions.

The Service uses automated AI processing to generate virtual try-on images.

This processing may affect the visual output shown to you, but it is not intended to make legal, employment, credit, insurance, medical, or similarly significant decisions about you.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

The updated version will be published at https://looksy.tech/privacy.

The "Last updated" date will show when the Policy was last changed. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the Service.
